Making hummus is perhaps even faster than buying hummus in the supermarket. Another advantage is that you can adjust the hummus to your own taste and you know exactly what it contains. Spread a thick layer of this homemade spicy hummus on a cracker or dip some tasty vegetables.

Ingredients homemade spicy hummus:
(This recipe is for 1 cup of hummus)
1 jar of chickpeas (400 grams)
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon of BioToday Tahini
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Juice of half a lemon
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
Pinch of sea salt
Some spices of your choice, such as flat parsley, sumac, chilli powder and sesame seeds
Preparation method homemade spicy hummus:
Put the chickpeas in a colander and rinse them well. Then add the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, the juice of the lemon and a pinch of salt in the blender. For a smooth result it is important that you use a powerful blender or food processor. Blend this for about 30 seconds. Then add 5 tablespoons of water and mix it again until you have a smooth hummus. Finely chop a small handful of flat parsley.
Spoon the hummus on a plate and make a circle in the center with the back of a spoon. Pour some olive oil over it and finish with the finely chopped flat parsley, sumac, chilli powder and sesame seeds.
